there is that time before a beginning, that time that comes after an ending and seems sometimes to last indefinitely, when nothing new seems to be happening soon enough. We sometimes feel stuck, as if we are going nowhere…and yet in that in between time, is the seeds of what will be, the spark, the space and breath that allows the inspiration to have time to be nurtured, take root, and grow into a new beginning……so take heart…. In the between time..is a time of growth of new tomorrows…
the precious time before a beginning
June 28th, 2012Meeting new beginnings
June 19th, 2012As the new day began, it occurred to me that beginnings are often so different. There are those beginnings that seem to hurry toward us at lightening speed and catch us by surprise. There are beginnings that we run to, almost avoiding the ending of the last or present moment. Then there are beginnings that I find we resist, sometimes with all our being. They are beginnings that signal a change of who we are, who we might become if only we let ourselves and that may foretell of an ending of who we have been. So I am reminder to honor the beginnings with all of its joy, excitement and yes courage required, and to also honor the endings that bring forth the new beginnings….
New beginnings…
June 17th, 2012So its a new endeavor for me, learning how to blog and I begin by looking to connect with others in the exploration of balance, wholeness, and wellness of body, mind and spirit in a fast-paced, changing world. I have heard that all there is to know has already been known, we are yet rediscovering it, and we all express what we have come to know in infinite ways. I wonder where that leaves us to co-create future and new beginnings….
I have promised myself a blog entry weekly; a manageable time frame for a new endeavor, but I am hoping to connect more frequently as comments arise…
It would seem my path has brought me here…I sometimes doubt this, especially since technology gives me pause, and yet according to M. Scott Peck, “Doubt is the beginning of wisdom.” I can see that doubt often causes us to reach out to find ease and in doing so, we embrace what lies ahead… we take those tentative first steps to more fully understand ourselves, each other and the world around us… we take the steps to knowledge, wisdom, and co-creating a new future….
